Ideas or arguments should instantly resonate and make sense to your audience without a ton of explanation.  If you find yourself explaining, you’ve probably lost your audience and it’s worth finding a simpler way to make your point. . . . or sit down!

A definite differentiator of high potential leaders is that they are clear and concise in their communications, with a focus on articulating why their audience should care about what they have to say.  As a rule of thumb, eliminate all jargon and communicate such that a  4th grader would easily understand.
